Oh, and the second one, too. That's not as good though, but still good (hardly anyone gets chopped up by a samurai sword. ).


Buy/rent on DVD immediately.

I did. I just call them Samurai swords anyway - they do in the film. 


And did you know that those three-pronged fork things are actually called Sai?


Anyway, Volume 2 is the last one, yes. But it's not as good. I hate to sound like a philistine, but it has too much talking and not enough chopping.


And Budd doesn't really do anything.


The film just takes ages explaining the back-story, which may have been better if it was left to our imaginations.


Some parts are good though - things like the fact that you find out what happened to Elle Driver's eye.

She uses Pai Mei's something-or-other 5 step heart technique. You poke the heart's pressure points and after 5 steps, the person's heart explodes. Which is what happens.


 


Anyway, it doesn't matter, Monster. It has the same effect - that you can't judge, having not seen the requirement to do so.
