Now let me settle this. Various bands are good (Mansun, Delays, Jet) but clearly the best band in the world (or Wales) are the Manics. James is fat and sings well, Nicky wears skirts and is a lanky $hit, Sean looks like a meatloaf and is funny to watch and Richey is/was an amazing song writer (but a crap guitar player).


Add it up, carry the two number 1s and 6 top 20 albums, subtract the crappy concert keyboard player and you will see that the Manics are the greatest.

They're Welsh, which is near Ireland, and they do drink a bit.... and, er, Sean plays the trumpet. He was Young Musician of the Year in Wales or something...
