In a show of musical-taste-unity, let's all congratulate James Dean Bradfield on getting married! (damn...taken).

THE former wild man of Welsh music has finally been tamed.

James Dean Bradfield, the one-time make-up wearing glamour boy of rock, has tied the knot in a romantic and traditional wedding in Italy.

The 35-year-old lead singer with the Manic Street Preachers married his PR girl, 30- year-old Mylene Halsall, in a small ceremony in Florence over the weekend.

Instead of their one-time trademark eyeliner, feather boa and "generation terrorist" look, the bride and groom looked every inch the conservative couple on their big day.

The nuptials, which had been kept a closely guarded secret, were attended by a handful of family and friends including the band's bass player, Nicky Wire. Yeah! Go Nicky!

Wire's mother Irene Jones, (Ha! Irene!) who was not at the wedding, said the newlyweds made a lovely couple.

But there won't be much time for a long honeymoon. The band are currently putting the final touches to their seventh album. Ooh yeah... Life Blood... October 4th....*drools*
