Another one of those loverly debate threads that most people probably won't post on!
Today's topic is - the liberal society! Is society too liberal? Should it be more liberal still? If yes to either question, in what ways? Maybe it's just right as it is? Discuss.
In the last 60 years, almost all social boundaries of pre-war Britain were broken, and rightly so IMO. However, I think there's still progress to be made. We're still far to strict in this country on taboo subjects, and too namby-pamby with criminals.

I don't think so, it's not fair on the child. A child should have a parent of both sexes.
Plus it wouldn't be fair on lots of other people trying to adopt. If they allowed that, they'd have to allow single parents to and similar groups to do it as well, which they generaly don't. You can't make gay couples a special case just for the sake of political correctness.
Having said that, I don't see what all the fuss is about gay marriage.
