I now have the directors cut as well!!!!

It's very interesting and it comes with deleted scenes and directors commentary. It sort of explains some confused parts. It's a bit silly (the explanations) but also quite interesting.

well it explains that certain things have to happen if a tangent universe occurs, (such as the tangent universe destroys itself after a few weeks, and the "living reciever" will send himself back to the originial universe. And also everyone else may have vagues feelings about things that happened in the tangent universe (like frank feeling his eye at the end)) but it's all just made up gibberish, but I still love it

also in the deleted scenes - directors commentary, he explains that one scene was deleted because he didn't want to make it too obvious that the film was about "divine intervention".. so basically it was God that made all of it happen which is also a bit strange.

And it has some unimportant but interesting things in the directors cut, like the psychiatrist tells donnie that his medication are actually just capsules of water, which basically shows that she knows that he's not crazy and knows something big is gonna happen.

There's some other stuff.. but yeh it's quite interesting. I love it because it makes no sense, which is also why I love salad fingers. I just get intruiged to try and make them make sense, which is impossible so I love them forever.
